To give the user feedback on a post that just has been added to the homepage, I want to connect the information displayed at the topic page. The topic part inside the home page only shows one topic. This is the last added topic to the page. So the user can see that a new topic has been added. The picture below shows how intended it to be indicated on the home page.
The picture below shows the first try to implement the topic information.
I subsequently I managed to find the slice option to only feature the two last added topics to the homepage.The picture below shows how this looks like.
The video below will show how I this part of the coding process worked out to be. The option to reply still isn’t used.
While updating the homepage, you can see I change some display aspects of the home page to let it look better.
Reflectie
During the making of this part I manage to exactly work out the functionality aspects I wanted to work out. I knew the slice function from a while back so it was nice to see how some of my experience does help.
